There is a threshold in tax beyond which you are required to register in the Uk I think this is now ?64,000 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If your shop is outside the EU then you only need to register if you are selling goods delivered by the Internet (that is downloaded software, information etc) to customers in the EU. You can register in a single scheme in this case to cover all EU countries. If you post physical goods out to countries in the EU from outside the EU, you do not register or charge VAT.
