'On the Fly' Contribution...

has anyone used the contribution: 'on the fly' Automatic Thumbnailer using GD???

 

i have tired soooo many times to load up the program and in the end...the programmer said that i wasn't even loaded on my site. he said a mod may have bypass the tep_image function...i really don't know because i'm only using card box, coolmenu, and easy populate--respectively in this order, and finally the 'on the fly'.

but alas...didn't work for me either.

 

i'm gonna try the sm, med, lg contribution and the update to it....

 

i think that the 'on the fly' isn't gonna work...i've spent 3 days on it. :(

 

 

i just don't know why it won't work for me....

ok...i gave it a second shot this afternoon and i didn't get the errors message like the first time i tried to modify b/c the first time i just replaced the files with the ones in the install...and this second time, i did it manually.

 

so, my question is how do i know it is working? there aren't any new files that have shown up on my folder...do i have to chmod the image folder? if i have to, then to what? 777???

nevermind...i just use the JPG Thumbnailer...it works fine for me now.
