webbie Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Hello, Ok i am building a site for a client, but the whole point is for customers to be able to buy and also <b>rent</b> DVDs online. Not all movies will be up for rent, so what i need to know how to do is to have a rental button also and be able to select which DVDs can be rented. All will be up for sale, but not all for rent. In other words, how do i build a rental site? The client wants a membership created where only members can rent, but registered people can buy. She wants those who want to become a member to select from 3 levels that all have different membership and rental rules. I have a slight idea how to do this, but when it comes to incorporating it with the osCommerce system, i am conpletely lost :( and my deadline for this is fast approaching. Please help!! Thank you.

But i dont think oscommerce will do this for you... hey thanks for responding, the difference is people can buy from just registering for the site, but to actually rent a movie, u have to become a member of the site (not just a registered user) and there will be a membership fee. @ 241, whats b2b suite? where can i find it? Will this negate all the work i have already done with os? will i have to start over? :(
