Software Activation Codes and Refferrel Tracking

Hello,

 

Does anyone know of a Payment module that can dispence software activation codes form a list in a SQL table along with the email message sent out for the download link? If not seems like it should be the next module written.

 

And another Module that I couldn't find anything about would add the ability to track referrals to the store so that referral fees can be paid similar to Amazon.

Ok, since no one responded can I assume that either these module do not exist or that they are not that interesting to anyone else, which may be why they don't exist. Which is fine, I just was hoping to make sure they don't exist before I tell my boss we need to write our own if we want these features.

referal exisists - and you didnt get a response likely because you didn't try and find it yourself. People here are funny that way - they all want something and think people shouold solve their problems ahead of everyone elses - even when there is a searchable list of contributions....

Oddly, I did actually spend a couple of hours searching the forums, the kb and the modules for the ability to send activation codes. However referals was a secondary thoght as I was writing my post about activation codes. My bad.

What I have proposed to a customer is to use the download functionality, and download a "certificate" that contains the access code for what the just purchased. I am able to share the access code and do not have to generate it for a database though.

 

This might be an easy point for you to add your processing. Good luck.
