Guest Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Hi, I have the following issue on a clients shopping cart: Orders are placed and the user gets their order email. The order entry is in the database and is correctly marked as pending The order fails to appear in the orders section of the customers section. Older orders appear though, just no new ones. Manually typing the order ID in brings up the order. I have tried/checked the following: Cache on/off - neither makes a difference order_status table is populated correctly Makes no difference if the payment was made through paypal/check(cheque)/nochex Using the "all orders" drop down to select pending produces no results (despite these orders being marked as pending) and then reselecting all orders then produces 0 results (despite showing the older orders only a few minutes ago - this may be a known issue though). This issue does seem very similar to the other threads I found while wading my way through the mountain of results from the forum search but all the suggestions/fixes for those have failed to work. This is causing major issues for my client so I would really appreciate any help/suggestions that you can offer.
buttuh Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Same problem here. I get order notification, go into admin and sees it on the left column as Pending Orders: 1 (or however many orders there are). Yet when I click on it there's nothing. The only way to get it to show up is by entering the order number directly. Even then the payment info isn't there. It just says "Credit Card" btw this started to happen as of 2 days ago. Up until then eveything is gravy.
Guest Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 did you maybe mess with changing the names of the order statuses? if you added new ones or changed the status # this could cause it. Also, make sure you have a "default" order status defined. I remember once upon a time this had caused me grief.
