dsather Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 I am trying to set up oscommerce for a client, and have it installed, but when I go to check out, I get an alert message that says that the connection was unexpectedly terminated, and that some data may have been transfered. I never got to the point where I entered any data... Just selected a product, and clicked on check out, and the alert comes up. Is there another permission file to change or something? I don't get the error message at the top of the page, just the pop up alert.
Guest Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Some one had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, try searching the forum and see if they got any help. Would do a search for you but im late for the pub :D
dsather Posted July 24, 2004 Author Posted July 24, 2004 If there is something posted in the forum about this topic, I could not find it or anything on the documentation pages. In IE, it just goes to a page not found when you click on the check out button, and in Firefox it has the alert button. I tried changing the permissions for the check out pages to 777, but that didn't work either.
dsather Posted July 24, 2004 Author Posted July 24, 2004 it looks like it is either in something in shopping_cart.php or checkout_shipping.php, because in IE it sends me to the checkout_shipping page. Both are in the appropriate folders on the server. Do they require some special permissions or something?
