Category and Manufacturers Listing Contribution

Hello, i am looking and looking at all the contributions and can't find anything. I'm looking for something that would change the "manufacturer's box" from a drop-down box into a list, just like the way the "categories" show up.

i'm also trying to populate my catalog with items, and, for the life of me, i can't figure out how to add new items with a manufacturer... for browsing.

 

FOR Example,

if someone clicks on

Shirts --> Mens --> Short Sleeve --> All

 

would find the same thing as shirts by a certain manufacturer at:

Hanes --> Shirts --> Mens --> Short Sleeve --> All

 

and have the option of using either by selecting at the left.
