Guest Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 here is the site i'm working on: http://newmexicanconnection.com/shop and i would like to charge shipping based on the total price of the order... i did go to my admin controls and looked shipping modules and found the table rate option which i think is the one i need to use. basically the store sell can jar items. a lot are heavy and require special care like bubble wrap and padding so it doesn't break. i just want the the shipping charges to be as follows: TOTAL PRICE of items ordered / SHIPPING COST $30-50 / $15 $50-100 / $30 $100-150 / $50 $150-200 / $70 $200-250 / $90 THEN CALL IN FOR LARGER ORDERS FOR SHIPPING PRICE. does anyone know how to do this? i tried both "Table Method The shipping cost is based on the order total or the total weight of the items ordered. *weight *price" and it didn't work the way i have in mind. i do have a ups account but doing it by weight that way is complicated and i want to simplify the shipping cost to total purchase price. please help me with this. thank you, macie
