Guest Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Hello, I'm wondering what the best methods of processing orders in OSC are. I'll explain myself and my background now. Previously, we ran a paypal only store, so when we received orders I would have a browser window open to the paypal site, and i would go thru the history and enter in sales receipts in quickbooks. print the sales receipts, and then ship out the orders. and that was the end of things. Now with OSC, we also support credit cards (via offline authentication via quickbooks merchant services). So i have taken to going into the OSC admin area -> orders page and clicking on the edit invoice option, which displays the payment method. So I either copy and paste the customer info, or use the saved info if its a previous customer. For paypal orders, i print the sales recipt and i'm done. But for CC orders, its an extra step of check a box in quickbooks to process the card when saving. which I then grab the info from the OSC invoice, and process away. I have searched around for modules and the feature forums and I have't found any clear cut ways to improve this process. Am I doing things the most effecient way? Mike
jrwrestling Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 We use QuickBooks Pro 2004, with Order information exporting, we can simply export the customers to QB and post the CC. Everything is gravy. Only thing Im waiting to work out is Uploading the Addresses to MyUPS.

I can't seem to find it.

jrwrestling Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 We are at around 20,000 customers with around 50-100 added daily. MELILLO, I used that one and edited it to fit my needs.
