Guest Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Is anyone else experiencing alot of customers getting an error during checkout that "There has been an error processing your card. Please try again". I have an Authorize.net gateway using the default OSC Authorize.net payment module. I have the user tracking mod installed and I see alot of customers having this problem. They get as far as the order confirmation screen. But when they click the "confirm order" button to submit the order, they are redirected to the payment info page which gives them the error to try again. Anyone have any input into this. I am losing too many orders to let this go aymore. I have noticed this happenning for the last 2 weeks now. It works fine for me when I try to checkout with my own credit cards. Hmmm....I wonder if it could be fraudulent users trying multiple times with bad cards in hopes that it might work at some point. But I do not think so, though. They do not try more than 3 or 4 times before they get frustrated and leave. That is where the recover carts mod comes in, but most do not respond. And with those that do, I can never find a solution for them anyway. Any help/thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
tpubcom Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 I just had a similar problem start. The cart has been working fine for about 6 months and this just started. It is with the Authorize.net module installed When people put in their credit card information at checkout_payment.php everything works fine until they get to checkout_confirmation.php. The expiration date for the credit card disappears. And then ofcourse when they hit "Confirm Order" the error message appears. I'm not sure what it is, but somewhere between checkout_payment.php and checkout_confirmation.php the expiration date is lost.
portalplanet Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 Any luck? I'm having the same problem here. Justin :(
kepa Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 I use Authorizenet Consolidated and all my problems went away. It may work for you. The default one that came with OSC gave me problems.
