Configuring order totals...taxes!

Can anyone help me?...I've been trying to configure my store (based in the UK) so that when orders are to be delivered anywhere in the world (excl UK and Europe) show just the net price at checkout with the relevant shipping cost and those orders placed in ?GBP/EUROs for UK and Europe delivery will not have any taxes added at checkout as all GBP/EURO prices on the site are VAT inclusive (there will just be a shipping cost).

The problem I'm having is

1) displaying $USA prices on the site as the net price - can't see any currency tailoring

2) getting the checkout order total to show the (net) $USA price only and the relevant shipping cost for the delivery zone.

In admin, i have created 2 tax classes: 'non-taxable goods' and 'taxable goods' and three tax zones: UK (tax rate of 17.5%), EU (tax rate of 17.5%) and Rest of World (tax rate of 0). When products were added to the database, they were all given the 'taxable goods' class.

I know this might sound a bit confusing and I've done by best to try and explain the set up so far - I'm just having trouble trying to get order totals to reflect te relevent tax class dependent on delivery zone.

If anyone has any suggestions to achieve this I would be VERY VERY grateful - I've spent the past couple of days trying to figure it out....Thanks!
