Hi,

all worked fine yersterday but now the login, my account, checkout pages don't work!

more info: All i was doing was trying to set up the SSL. all i changed was in includes/configure.php changing

define('ENABLE_SSL', fasle);

to

define('ENABLE_SSL', true);

. at this point i noticed that login, my account and checout didn't work and i canged the SSL enabled to FALSE the original

define('ENABLE_SSL', fasle);

but still it doesn't work!! there's no warning but i get the famous The page cannot be displayed! message.

after i uplaoded the configure.php i set the permission as well as it was writable. i don't think it has anything to do with the issue anyway.

PLease HELP!

Did you try? Did you fail? No matter! Try again. Fail again! But fail better!

by the way my host gives me PROXY SSL. is it the same as SHARED SSL? may be i have no SSL to use and i need to purchase? getting myself confused!!

OK. i resolved it. it had to do with my permission settings! the configure.php was not executeable at first. so is this a general rule? why didn't i see anythig when i enabled the SSL?
