Error Message after editing file

Hi

 

I hope someone will be able to help me. I have just installed osCommerce and was wanting to edit the opening page so it read Welcome to "my shops name" instead of Welcome to osCommerce. I found the file to edit /includes/languages/english/index.php and changed the text.

 

Since then every time I try to open the catalog on the site as a customer I get the following error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/httpd/html/byrnesales/cgi-bin/oscommerce/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 20

 

I changed the text back and it was the same so I tried reinstalling osCommerce over the top but the same result.

 

Any assistance is appreciated.
