osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Between the instructions in the forum and the instructions in the readme that came with the store I am thouroughly confused.

I installed the base osc. I downloaded this mod and overlaid all of files. I applied the new sql. I created two stores. I copied all of the files to a 2nd store. I did the instructions I read in the forum about copying all of the INSERT INTO configuration statements, changing them for the new table, and running them. Did that.

1. My configuration table for my 2nd store has duplicate rows. As far as I can tell all of the rows that the INSERTs did were alread there. When I go to /secondstore/admin --> My store I have duplicate rows for everything.

2. I have updated the store name, yet when I go to /second_store/ (where the catalog is) in my browser title bar I see the name 'osCommerce'. It is not the name of my store from the configuration which is what I would expect.

Can somebody please give me a clue as to where I went wrong?

It would be better if you mentioned exactly what contribution you were trying to install (with a link perhaps).

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
