sjellinw Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Hello, I have my site up and running and everything works fine. I'm ready to take orders now, so I want to secure the checkout area. I've looked around the forums but I haven't found a solution to my problem. Lunarpages said the shared secure server is: https://secure.phoenix.lunarpages.com/~username I put that in the config files and it gives me the 500 error when I go to my account and checkout pages. Now I've read different solutions such as having all the files in the secure folder or having them both on the secure folder and regular folder, but the way that the shared server works (to my understanding) is for example, my index page is http://www.dkenterpriseinc.com/index.html If I go to: https://secure.phoenix.lunarpages.com/~dkente2/index.html The same page pops up, but when I do it through the secure link, that page is now secure. If anyone is familiar with lunarpages or this problem or anything, and help is appreciated. Steve
shootingstar Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I am using Lunarpages and had my sight up and running using the same configuration (https://secure.server.lunarpages.com) in my configuation page. All was well until a couple of weeks ago. I called Lunarpages to figure out why I had a 500 error. They say that they had to upgrade the servers and now they do not accept php on their shared secured servers. I have had to purchase my own secured server ($69/yr) and a private IP (2.50/mo) or redirect all of my secured pages to new ones that don't use php. I have opted to purchase the certificate and am waiting to see if that fixes it. You might call lunarpages and see if yours is the same problem.
