macfoto Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I have product attributes on my products, I've also used an attribute sort contribution to keep them sorted. Due to the nature of the product the default attribute often is "Select (product attribute)" Is there a simpe way of making sure that a non-default attribute is selected or would I need to modify the code myself. Thanks. David
bglkk Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Hi David. I've got several attributes where I needed "None" or "Standard" as defaults. I created "None" and "Standard" attributes, and with the attribute sort contribution I'm using, gave them sort weights of 0. Works great! macfoto Posted July 20, 2004 Author Posted July 20, 2004 I got that part, what I'm wondering is if the customer doesn't bother to change it and clicks on the purchase link, what would be necessary so that it would be rejected, say returning them back to that page?
