davea0511 Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Here's my problem: I have customers who buy from me, but ship their products all over. In OSCommerce everytime a "ship to" address is entered it is added to the address book, and so for these customers constantly cleaning it out is a major hassle. Is there some way that I can make this more manageable? Ideally there should be a "add to address book?" radio button when they enter a new address. A less elegant method (and this would be a nice addition to the radio button) is a "delete all addresses" button that allows them to clean out all addresses in one fair swoop. Anyone? Buhler?
Guest Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 create additional address book capability, where they can put the address' into the address book. else, in the comment field of the order, if they want to ship to another address, have them put it into there. one thing, most CC companies are now making it so if you are shipping to an address other than the one setup for the billing, they should be an authorized drop ship place. thus, if you ship to a place which is not authorized and then the credit card gets declined later, then you are going to be the one losing money.
