vintageland Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Hello, Ever since I went OSCommerce I have been gettting as good as results as far as search engines go. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to better my traffic into my site? I'm specifically interested in taking advantage of the new "Froogle" technology. Any help? Thanks, -VintageLand PS- I was participating in a Google Adwords campaign and I was really getting raped at 10 cents per click.
GraphicsGuy Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 There are several contributions related to working with Froogle. I wish any of my keywords at Adwords were only 10 cents, many of mine are over $1 and some are near $3. When it gets like that you really get concerned about "window shoppers". :o Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.

keithcky Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 With oscommerce, how far can it go into search engine positioning?? Dynamic contents is not index able by most of the crawler engine... is any of the users here has good ranking in crawlers like google Appreciate your input
♥ecartz Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Dynamic contents is not index able by most of the crawler engine...This is absolutely false (although it used to be true). Several osCommerce stores come up first for their search terms and are completely indexed by the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc.). Cheers, Matt Always back up before making changes.
