Guest Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 How do I make it so tax only applies to the people of Michigan?? I made a tax zone and put the 6% but it adds it to EVERYONE who views the site. Detailed instructions would be nice too, since theres a few menus about taxs and stuff. Thank you very much! Dustin. :D
devilj Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 OK, this is how it is done. I'm going to make the following assumptions. 1. You have created a 'Tax Zone' called State of Michigan or something similar. 2. You have created a 'Tax Rate" entry. OK, what you need to do is go back to the 'Tax Zones' admin. when you click on it. You should see a yellow file folder with 'State of Michigan' next to it. Click on the yellow folder. You are going to see an entry that has 0, 0, On that page is a button named "insert". Hit it. From there you need to choose "United State" as your country then choose "Michigan" from the zones. That will do it for you.
