Guest Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 you need to give us a bit more detail on what it is you are doing, as well as what the full error is, without giving us a file name, could be anything.

Guest Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 you shouldnt use the osc filemanager for editing, go find phpedit, some free php editor (search for either phpedit or php editor). use your ftp program to change the properties, once you logon to the server, with your ftp program, right click on the program in question, go to properties and change the settings. now for my suggestion to make it easier on you. put a copy of your store on your local system, go search for phpdev and download and install it, then install a copy of your store locally, do all your developing/testing there, to make sure it works. then transfer to your web site. this way, if it doesnt work, you dont take your web site down.
241 Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Get a copy of Easyphp from easyphp.org this has all you need and is a straightforward install. Dont use the online file manager as there are known issues with the file manager one of which is that backslashes \ are removed from the code which will result in a parse error.
