jko Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 As a newbie to osCommerce I'm still trying to find my way around everything. Can any of you knowledgeable people point me to the best contributions to achieve the following: 1. Volume discount - specifically, I need to be able to offer, "buy 10, get 11th free". This is applicable to every block of 10, so "buy 20, get another 2 free". 2. "Buy X and Y together and save $z" - ie, special price for items grouped together. John Quote
jko Posted July 19, 2004 Author Posted July 19, 2004 OK, I've had another rummage around in the Contributions area and I've dug up the following: Bundled Products from Chris Tanner Buy_two_module from Kai Schulz Quantity Price Breaks Per Product from Andrew Baucom Before I start messing up my working fileset, can anyone who has used these tell me if they will do what I need? Or, are there any athers I should take a look at? Thanks, John Quote
julianpuje Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Hi Can't really comment on the contributions. But it is probably just as quick to do a full back up in Cpanel, and try them out. Julian Quote A little knowledge is dangerous, I SHOULD KNOW. If Life Begins At 40, What ends????
Guest Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 Hi erll, the buy_two_module will do your second point: Buy product A + B for x... save: y.... Just take look at www.auroranien.de that is where I have installed MY solution ;) cheers Kai Quote

Can I select the products I want to group or does it only choose automatically based on similar product types? John Quote
