Guest Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 I have installed the OScommerce on a linux server , everthing seems to work well , but i can not send email to clients or new customers !!!! I checked with the service provider and they say there is SMTP installed on the server . Where did i go wrong ? what should i do to make the email up and running ? :blink:
cDGo IT Consultancy Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 You might wanna check in the admin part : Configurations=> email options => Send email = true. And all the other settings over here.
Guest Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 Thanks it was set to true , but still , i am not able to send emails to clients I got my values set to the following E-Mail Transport Method smtp E-Mail Linefeeds LF Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails false Verify E-Mail Addresses Through DNS false Send E-Mails true Any more ideas !!! ;)

cDGo IT Consultancy Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Try to put W-mail Transport Methode with sendmail, I do thinks that's the setting for Linux servers. I also have got Use MIME and Verify E-mail with True.
