rhillman Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 I've successfully downloaded the software (I think) onto my mac, but I am not sure what to do next. I know I have to install it, but the installation instructions seem over my head. I'm starting to wonder if OSCommerce is intended solely for technically oriented, programming savvy people. Should I keep at it or try to find another online storefront solution? Thanks
Acheron Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 Personally I don't think it gets much easier than osC for basic install. If you are installing locally though, check out EasyPHP. Not sure about EasyPHP usage on Mac but something you can look into anyway. If you want to custom osC or any other site though, you are going to need to have (or be willing to learn) some web design basics. :)
nate_02631 Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 Check out the osCommerce knowledge base @ http://www.oscommerce.info/ Installing is pretty darn easy though... ** Please do not PM with personal support requests (even if offering "payment"). Thank you.
