Oman4x4 Posted July 17, 2004 Posted July 17, 2004 Ok I'm the webmaster setting up the site and now I need to hand it over to the store owner who will be processing the orders... slight oversight... need to change the password now to something difficult to guess but easy for HIM to remember. Or, even better, can I just set up a log in for him to get to the "ORDERS" section only? If so, how? Cheers :)
stevel Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 The default osC install does not provide a password for admin. You typically add this with .htaccess/.htpasswd. So use the standard password encryption tool for .htpasswd and create a username for the owner, add it to .htpasswd. (Leave yours in there.) There is a contribution to add login for admin, but I have not used it.
