Customer Login

I test the store by creating an account. I logout. A little later, I log back in to shop. I add products to my cart. Clicked on checkout. I was asked to login again. I was already logged in. I had logged in just before I started adding products to the cart.

 

Customers are saying the same thing. That they have to login 2 times to check out. Does anyone know what is going on. How do I fix this?

I'm trying to find the solution to the same problem. I'm using shared SSL, if I set SSL to false it seems to solve the problem; but that's obviously not a solution.

try setting your sessions to the following in admin>configurations>sessions

 

it works for me.

 

Session Directory                        /tmp 

Force Cookie Use                        True 

Check SSL Session ID                  True 

Check User Agent                        False 

Check IP Address                        False 

Prevent Spider Sessions              True 

Recreate Session                        False

I noticed earlier to night that dir /tmp did not exist on the server so I created it.

I can't Force Cookies because I'm using shared SSL.

I've changed my setting for Recreate session to False.

 

Still not working.
