808smokey Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Hi, I was looking at the product attributes section in the admin panel. I'm not sure how you use them. I have several products that come in different colors, all the same price. Please advise on how to accomplish this Thanks
kepa Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 1)Create a Product Option and label it (i.e., Select Colors:) on the left side. 2)Create the option values on the right (i.e, Blue, Green, Silver). 3)Attach it to a product at the bottom of the page. 4) Assign, appropriate values to the price, prefix and action. (if the option is NO incremental charge, then 0, for example a green shirt doesn't cost any more than a silver shirt). The prefix is to determine if there IS a difference, how much and whether it is subtracted or added (+/-). For example if a green shirt costs $2.00 more than the listed shirt, then put 2.00 and a plus (+) sign.
