After working with oscommerce 2.2CVS for one year without problems, today I am getting the following warning messages:

Warning: session_start(): open(/tmp/sess_10f7ff2a06be831e822869c2693c9666, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /home/...l/shopping/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/.../shopping/includes/functions/sessions.php:67) in /home/.../shopping/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/..../shopping/includes/functions/sessions.php:67) in /home/.../shopping/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67

I have NOT changed anything, the shop worked well yesterday, I don't understand why I get these warnings now.

I have tried to restore my database, but the warning messages are still there.

Please HELP!!

I have exactly the same problem:

->Yesterday: all running smooth.

->Today: Warning: session_start(): ... Permission denied (13)...

Anyone knows how to fit that?

Try changing the session storage (in includes/configure.php) to:

define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'

It could be that the host has limited access to the /tmp directory.

Local: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Apache 2.2/php 5.3.0/MySQL 5.4.10 • Web Servers: Linux

Tools: BBEdit, Coda, Versions (Subversion), Sequel Pro (db management)

May be that. I've just changed it and seems to work fine.

The error still apears in the admin control panel and I fitted that making the same change (define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql') in the admin/includes/configure.php file.

But I couldn't find how to solve that problem in the info panel and I can't access to the e-mails and so.

Any fixing tip about that?

Tons of thanks for your early answer :lol:
