Guest Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Since you dont have any products in your store, I would seriously think about installing the latest version 2.2MS2 because the version you have there 2.1 is over 2 years old and not supported no more The_Bear
dvdsnsutch Posted July 16, 2004 Author Posted July 16, 2004 I know that this sounds really sad, but how do I do that?
Guest Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 http://www.oscommerce.com/solutions/downloads to download it and this document will help you with installation The_Bear
AlanR Posted July 17, 2004 Posted July 17, 2004 ok, I downloaded it, now what? Is it unzipped on your PC? If so, upload the folder catalog to your webserver's www directory and then type in http://dvdsnsutch.com/catalog Make sure you know your 1) Database Server name, probably localhost 2) Database Name 3) Username for database 4) Password for database. Set the permissions on catalog/includes/configure.php and catalog/admin/includes/configure.php to 777 (rrr www eee) ... and away you go. Post back if you get stuck. Local: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Apache 2.2/php 5.3.0/MySQL 5.4.10 • Web Servers: Linux Tools: BBEdit, Coda, Versions (Subversion), Sequel Pro (db management)
