SEARCH added capability

hi everbody,

 

i need to enable my customers to find products based on product ID's or SKU's.

 

what have i done and why is this important to me?

 

when inserting products using admin interface or whatever means i've entered product ID's / SKU's instead of "product model" for all practical purposes! it is important for my customers to be able to find products when ther enter these product ID's in the search engine.

 

unfortunately ordinarily OSCommerce's search facility does not find products when you enter their "product model" information!

 

can anybody help!?
