KennethS Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 Hi, I stumbled upon OsCommerce about 3 months ago and Ive loved it ever since. I've stumbled in to so many problems but it bounces back in the end. This site is going to actually be the best of the best the market has to offer as soon as it's up. I've tried to help on the forums whenever I could, and alot of people have helped with my questions along the way also, so I hope you enjoy your visit. Please critisize me as much as possible. I want to make the site better and there is no group better to ask than the friendly developers, modders, and users of OsCommerce. Thanks for all your help, Store Kenneth Southern Production Assistant "Quilts with Style Magazine" ZDP Media Group, Inc. Kenneth S -------------- Customer "Are you a real programmer?" Black_Skorpio Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 Nice and clean site The images seam to be a bit slow loading (thumbnails) Other than that, good work ----===~~oOo~~===---- // Bjarne Varoystrand aka Black Skorpio Do to others what you want them to do to you - Lek och Lust Fr Vuxna
KennethS Posted July 15, 2004 Author Posted July 15, 2004 The downside of running an equiltpattern shop is the size of the images. In our Quilting Magazine I normally scan pictures in at the optimal 591dpi (To reduce moire effects and be high quality). Unfortunantly the pictures on the site completely sell our products, they can't be found anywhere else. In hopes of dialup soon being obselete I left the pictures at a large size so that they could see the quality of the item they are receiving. However the thumbnails contrib might be a good idea, and I could possibly reduce the size of the buttons/banner/other miscellaneous graphics. Thanks for your comment its well noted and I'll begin pondering on a solution. Kenneth S -------------- Customer "Are you a real programmer?"
