OScommerce transfer

Hi Guys,

Man this software is good, plus some fantastic contributions by talented people..

O/K here the question:

I am at present modding and changing oscommerce to the style I will be happy with on my local machine (this computer)

Next year (febuary) I will be wanting to transfer the competed oscommerce site to a live web host and open it.

Both will be running same server software and format. (My computer is a mirror or my hoster)

I will need total transfer including sql and all mods and theames created.

I would like any input and to any problems or advice regarding this transfer. Or pitfalls to avoid.

Cheers

It is really fairly simple. The following link will give you the steps for moving from one server to another but since the site is already on your local computer you can ignore step two.

Moving osC

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
