Page not found when logging in

Damn... I finally got my companies site up, and sometimes, not all of the time when logging in, I get page cannot found. If I refresh the page, it comes up with, "Error: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password." Then what's even weirder is that it shows you logged in on the top. What's wrong here... is it something in my settings or is it my isp?

If I'm not explaining it correctly, you can see it for yourself @ Stuff4wireless

Please help!! It's driving me crazy. :huh:

I put the link to the main page... you just need to click into the store

www.stuff4wireless.com/catalog

store_sessions is as follow:

define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql');

I'm using mysql, php4, on freebsd

Any help would be appreciated!!

check the server error logs and access logs. also, put this in the catalog folder, as a file named phpinfo.php

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

i can get to the page everytime, from here in boston and from one of my systems in calgary, 20 minutes ago no. so might be a server/host issue, what it is looking like to me.

I would make it the standard way, like so:

// Define the webserver and path parameters

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://stuff4wireless.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://host206.ipowerweb.com/~stuff4wi'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'stuff4wireless.com');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'host206.ipowerweb.com/~stuff4wi');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');

define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');

define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/stuff4wi/public_html/catalog/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

Alan.. those changes make the logoff page not work

Well, you can tinker around but I can tell you this.

The cookie domains never have the http:// or https://

What I gave you works 99 times out of 100 and it is the standard setup.

I'm having the exact same issue...only customers are getting Page Not Found almost everywhere when logged in (may be on login, may be on accout creation, may be on checkout), and I'm getting it when I edit prods on the Admin side.

I'm losing TONS of sales, and I'm just about to dump osCommerce because of this, which doesn't make me happy!!!

Are there any other ideas??? It's definitely not a server issue, I've checked with my host...they say that they've heard this from others before once the osCommerce database goes past 10,000 rows.

that is not true of the database going past 10000 rows, dont know where they or you get your information from. it is most likely a setting in your configuration for osCommerce in the admin and/or your configure.php file, the store_sessions setting

Ok... I tried Alan's suggestion and played around with my configure file. This is what I have at the moment, but I am still having the same problem:

I will take any suggestions

Ok... I figured it out and it works great.. I had:

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://host206.ipowerweb.com');

when it should have been

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://host206.ipowerweb.com/~stuff4wi');

If your having these problems too, you probably have a stupid mistake in your configure file like I did. :D
