Bim-oc
I'm brand new and I hope I can get some help here. I tried to change my index.php page and messed it up. Now I get: Parse error: parse error in /home/bodies2/public_html/shop/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13 on top of my page. Is there a step by step manual that in detail explain a slow person like me how to change my home page? Is there an editor of some kind I can write my content with and paste or save it as index.php and be done? Thanks in advance... Tom
Guest
the way it works is like this, (an example) define('WHATEVER_YOU_ARE_DEFINING_TITLE', 'Let\'s See "\"This Old House"\"'); so you understand, the beginning after the TITLE', starts with a single quote ' and then when there is an apostrophe, you use a backslash as in the let\'s and further on if you want to use a quote " you need to precede it with a backslash. Guest
he is trying to change the index.php definition for the front page. ws_ftp will only allow you to move the files around, you can not edit a php file with it.
Bim-oc
John...tanks ....but all "greek" to me. So I need to learn php now? ....I can't even write english very well.. Hmm afraid this is not for me. Had hoped someone had developed a software that wrote this stuff. All I wanted is a simple shopping cart my affiliate software works with, and someone recommended this! ....That person must must hate me. tom

Bim-oc
Uploading products was easy. Is just the editing of the home page that gets me. Another thing I noticed is that I can't offer a flat rate 2nd day shipping. But that can't be hard to add?. I have one price for regular shipping US and on for 1-3 days US and the same setup for foreign countries but at different rates of course. Can this be done? So close but still not there.............I can smell a victory if these two issues can be resolved. tom
