Please let me know what you think and provide any tips. Also, any good guidelines on how to size the product images? Many of mine are still very large and take too long to load. Jack_mcs Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 I would lose the entrance page if I were you. It serves very little purpose and is just a roadblock for buyers. The text throughout the site is hard to read or mis-sized. The logo needs some work. The Handmade & Personalized is practically unreadable. I would switch the positions of Manufacturer and Quick Find. Your images would look better with transpaent backgrounds. Just about any free graphics program will allow you to convert an image to gif's (for transparency) and otpimize the image for use on the web. If you look at the number of colors for your images, they are probably 256. You could probably get away with reducing this to 64.
