corrupt categories - only displays in English

hi all

 

until recently we had our categories displaying correctly in English, German and Spanish... but now they only work for English - they don't display at all in the other two languages (although the products appear in new items).

 

I've tried restoring the database to when i believed it to be working correctly (in fact, i've tried both deleting the db completely and restoring back to the first backup - still the same problem)

 

I did move the shop this morning, from /shop/catalog into the root of our webspace and changed the two configure.php files to reflect the changes but otherwise it appears to be working fine.

 

Should i be looking at the database or is the problem elsewhere?

 

I'd really appreciate it if someone could have a quick look and see if they recognise the problem...

Check out the products on the english version, then click spanish or german and you'll see the products disappear...

The solution was to create the categories before importing the products... there doesn't appear to be an (easy to find) option in Easy Populate to define category names in different languages so, when i imported the db, it only worked correctly for the english version.
