Guest
My shopping cart is set up with an item with a price of zero. I would like it to be free so I have activated the download feature in admin. After a customer adds it to his cart and goes to check out, the quanity in the cart appears as zero and a message appears that the cart is empty. What should I do? http://www.needlepointbackbay.com
Acheron
That would be b/c the customer has left your site once they hit the HTTPS connection. To clarify, I am at powweb.com when I go to the create acc't page for example.
Guest
I do not understand your post. I tried it myself with the same results.
Acheron
OK, this is your domain from which the buyer shops: http://www.needlepointbackbay.com/ Then I proceed to checkout or signup or anything else that requires an HTTPS connection and I am redirected through an SSL gateway: https://needlepointbackbaycom.secure.powweb.com/login.php It's just a theory, but it seems like osC thinks you are leaving the site when you are redirected through the gateway which I thought was strange b/c I assume it's the same virtual server ?? Acheron
Before I jump to conclusions though, check your admin settings also for sessions, etc.
Guest
That would make sense. I check the sessions configuration in admin. They are all set to false. I am ot sure how I would change the configuration.
