If product quantity <= 0, back to checkout

Hi,

 

I am mantening an future OS commerce website and I found a few problems during the checkout.

 

If an ordered product has a too small quantity for my order, I get back to my checkout panel, with my shopping cart with absolutly no message, error or warning. Is it normal or a bug ?

 

Second question : As OSC keeps the shopping bag in database, a product ordered on day 1, could be out of stock on day 2. If I come back on day 3, my shopping bak still contains this product, product that I wasnt normally able to select because of its status. And we are back to the problem number one :-(

 

Is it a normal procedure or should I fix it ? Any configuration I forget (parameters, etc...)
