Spike_UK
This is kind of related to osCommerce, but only in the sense that this was discovered while testing osc on localhost. I seem to be having really bad problems loading JPEG images on my localhost server. If I enter the localhost address into either IE or Firefox i.e "http://localhost/blah.jpg" then I get either a blank page or a page cannot be displayed message. But if I enter the direct address to the image i.e "c:\apache\apache2\htdocs\blah.jpg" the image will load fine. This doesn't happen with all images and they jpg's appear to load perfectly in photoshop or windows picture and fax viewer. I have no idea what could be the cause of this. It was discovered while trying to get the Image Resize 1.5 Contribution working. The thumbnails are being generated, but the original image, although correct, isn't being displayed. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Spike_UK
Problem solved. Appears to be a problem with Apache 2. Switched to 1.3 and everything is OK.
Guest
Do you have a link to a bug report on this? Matti
Spike_UK
No I haven't, I'll see if it's already been added. I just assumed it's a bug as switching to 1.3 solved the issue.
