2Checkout Process

Okay, this may be related to the thread

But I'm having an issue that is cuasing me to...well...not being able to figure out whats wrong.

 

My site is in test mode...not production. But I can add an item to my cart and continue the checkout process all the way up to using 2checkout as my payment method. When I click on the confirm payment button...after entering my creditcard info...I get redirected to my other site...a private web hosting site...payment page for 2checkout.

 

What do I have to do...so that when I click on the confirm payment button,,,that is goes directly to the 2checkout site and process my order and then returns me back to a confirmation page?

 

Any help would be great.

 

Also...while I"m at it...the top left oscommernce logo on the main catalog page...could somebody please tell me were I can change that logo...what server path its in

Okay just an update.

 

I attempted to modify some of the files needed to get this working without succsess from the thread I posted above.

 

I messed thigns up beyound repair...so I dleted the database and the file son the server. I then remebered that my Cpanel Control panel had the option of installing the OsCommerce script for me...becuase I did a self install before.

 

So I used the Cpanel install script and all went well...I could process anything in the cart and was able to enter credit card info from my page and then t processed up to 2checkout and then returned back to my shop. But during the process of getting the credit card verified...I got an error stating my connection was not SSL.

 

So I fired off a ticket to 2CO

 

I would like to no if theres a way to redirect the page that my visitors get when filling out there credit card information to purchase one of my products. Right now...the form has to be filled out on one of my pages and then that information has to be sent over the net to you servers. I do not have the ability to us SSL...becuase I'm on a shared ip address.

 

So my question is. Is there a way to make the payment page be re-directed directly to you servers for payment processing and then redirected back to my site after the payment has been completed?

It is against the terms of service for your account to collect credit card information on your pages under any circumstances, regardless of wether or not you have an SSL server.

 

2CO does not provide support for OSC or any other third party scripts. We can provide you with the settings that are needed to configure OSC to work with us, but the vendor is responsible for debugging and troubleshooting the cart itself. I replied to them with this.

 

okay...so if I'm not allowed to collect credit card info from my site...with or without a SSL server.

 

What are my options?

 

I need a shopping cart in order to provide some items for sell.

 

and they replied with this.

 

OSC should have a module you can download and install to make it complaint with our system.

 

So, again were do I stand with getting all this to work together?

i'm currently having the same problem... working on it, if I come up with a solution i'll let you know. Funny thing is, this used to work, it doesn't anymore and i'm not sure why!
