Jack_mcs Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 In admin-> Customers-> Orders, the status of an order is marked as "Delivered" once it has shipped. This has confused a few of my customers. They check their accounts and see that is says "Delivered" but since they have not actually received the product they email me asking what's going on. If it said "Shipped" instead of "Delivered" it might be more meaningful. So, does anyone know if it is just a matter of changing the wording from "Delivered" to "Shipped" or is there a code change I need to consider? Geotex Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 When I set up a site, I normally just add a "shipped" to the list so my users can change to this status and send customer an email with tracking number. Save delivered to close out the customer orders internally, without a email notification GEOTEX from Houston, TX (George)
Guest Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 In admin under Localization - Orders Status select 'Delivered', then edit, enter 'Shipped', Then click update. I also changed 'Pending' to 'Accepted'.
