damo2576 Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Hi, Nearing the time that I will be putting my site live. Obviously I want to make my site as secure as possible. I've renamded the admin dir, have a password on it and am with a reputable host. What other, if any precautions should I take? Is OSC vunerable to SQL injection attacks? Thanks in advance Damo
patrickbailey1 Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 get SSL...www.verisign.com....www.thawte.com...others that are cheaper too but these are, arguably, the best...(or most well known....prestige=pricetag sometimes---its nice to have "verisign" on your site...makes people happy...should for $850) Patrick Bailey www.DisplayHaven.com
patrickbailey1 Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 there's also something i've seen on a bunch of websites called "hackersafe"...you can google it...supposedly they try to infiltrate your page like 1000 times a day to make sure its safe...i dont know...i dont have it, but i've heard things...you'll have to research it for yourself...
