Missing Order?

My administration panel lists two orders as "pending." However, when I go further in to try and find which orders are pending, it doesn't list any pending orders. When I go in to look for the two customers, only one of the two are showing up. And even when I click on the one that is there, there doesn't seem to be any "pending" orders for him.


I guess my questions are: What happens when an order is "pending?" Does it just sit in limbo until it's in "processing" mode? Is this the reason why I am unable to find a record of my two orders from today?

I too am having this problem. Did you ever figure it out?


Our problem was related to a web hosting switch. After the site was moved, the osCommerce app was still pointing to the IP of the old host; when the old host was cancelled, the payments went dead. So, we updated the IP hosting information in the osCommerce admin panel - that fixed the problem.
