roby2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Hi, When i try to log in my admin panel a box pops out. In there i need to put my username and password to log in. Now my question is: on the top it says: my site name ( www.mysite.com ) after that it say Oscommerce realm. How can i change Oscommerce realm to my own site name? I mean where is that text, which php file? Thanks
Guest Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 This is not part of osCommerce - you can access it through your webhost control panel->'password protect directories'. Matti
roby2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Author Posted July 7, 2004 no i dont want to change the password. I just want to change the text of the box to my own instead of " oscommerce realm " which appears in a login box when you try to login the admin panel. example: www.yoursite.com/catalog/admin Thanks
Rob123 Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Matti is right... this has absolutely nothing to do with osCommerce. Another way to make the realm change is... Open your .htaccess file and look for something like AuthName "oscommerce realm" and change "oscommerce realm" to whatever you want. HTH, Robert
roby2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Author Posted July 7, 2004 Absolutely right Rob. You are the man. Thanks
