Membership Access help

I am looking to set up a section that is only viewable by members who have actually purchased in the past.

 

I would like to use the user management built in to oscommerce. The section would be password protected, with the previous buyers being able to use their current user/pass. While prohibiting mmbers that have not actually purchased in the past.

 

Anyone know of any modules on this or at least how I could get started?

I had originally thought of that, but I am not sure how I would seperate those that purchased before and those that have just registered without making a purchase.

 

Any thoughts?
