Lone Burro Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 I know about oscommerce through the website designer who helped me set up a basic template style website for my jewelry-related business. I am interested in updating it for better organization and ease-of-use as a shopping cart. From the description of oscommerce on the home page, I thought oscommerce might be within my grasp. But now that I've perused some of the topics here on the forum, I think I am grasping at something well outside my reach. Does an internet shop owner such as myself with a lot of interest in website set up but no programming experience stand a chance of setting up an oscommerce store on her own? I maintain my own website as handed over to me by the designer, so I am not utterly clueless. But I am truly clueless when it comes to the technical stuff. Lisa
FlyingMonkey Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 It really depends how experienced you are with programming and the changes or modifications you want to do to your site. Some changes may be a lot more difficult than others, while some are fairly easy and intuitive. =) Most likely your question has been answered, please do a search first.
