Goanna Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 I sometimes use the attributes feature to make options like "Buy 3 get one Free" available to my customers. However, when I do this, the inventory is still only marked down as if one product was sold. I really need the inventory system to be up to date though, so I am trying to figure out a better way to do this. I searched the contributions and while there seems to be many enhancements to the Product Attributes area of the admin, none of them seem to have the ability to specify quantites with each attribute. Does anyone know How I can do this?
Dragonmom Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 That is my problem too- and I would swear that there was a contribution for that very thing, just a week ago! I've been going crazy trying to find it! psst... wanna buy a wand?
Goanna Posted July 1, 2004 Author Posted July 1, 2004 Well, I just found this contrib that MAY be able to do what we need. Ill install it and see what happens. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...search,quantity
Goanna Posted July 1, 2004 Author Posted July 1, 2004 Nope, that doesnt really do the job because I would need to make seperate products for single item purchases and multiple item (buy x get x free) purchases, meaning I would need to track the inventory of both products, and it would be a real pain. Now, If it comes down to where I have to do that, is there any way to make two products share the same inventory quantity?
