New shipping tables won't 'process'

Hi all,

 

Recently I've been helping a friend's business install OSC and I've been through a lot of the articles on the site researching problems, etc, and first, let me just say that everyone in the community has done a fine job answering questions and being very gracious helping anyone out.

 

I was hoping someone might be able to clear this up for us - or help atleast shed some light on what's missing - I have duplicated (and renamed) the table.php shipping files so the site could have multiple table rate shipping options. I have also renamed the variables as appropriate in each file as per the other posts I've read here.

 

The modules show up on the admin panal, can be installed, options changed, etc, and the new records are in the mySQL database. The zones, taxes, etc, are also all configured. Everything seems *perfect* until you select one of the 'homegrown' options and attempt to use that as your shipping method. It simply reloads the Shipping Options page.

 

Thoughts? I'm a novice PHP programmer, but before we really rip into this I'd like to make sure nothing obvious is being overlooked.
