Yari Gio Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 I setup a site with about 60 products. I uploaded a lot of duplicate images for these products. I've decited i want the products to have no images now but i can not find a good way to turn off the images with out having to RE do all my products. I've tried just deleting the image from the server but then i get a lot of "image not found" boxes (even with images required turned off). Is there a way that i can maybe run a slq statment to delete all the image maps for my products ? Or will i need to redo all my products. Please help.
808smokey Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 in the admin side of your site turn "require imaes to false" then delete all the images from the images folder. That will work
Yari Gio Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 That did not work, i've attached a link but this is what happens if i just delete the image, it will try to display it but since it is gone it just displays an empty box. As you can see from the second item though the image required is turned off. http://123webmagic.com/massagemarketing/ca...ex.php?cPath=38 Any help will be greatly apriciated. Thank you.
Guest Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Hi, In the admin/configuration/images set required images to false.
Acheron Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Image required if off but for certain products, you still have them using images.
Acheron Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 btw, the easiest way for you to quickly remove them all is to 'Empty' that field in phpMyAdmin
way2savory Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 or to upload a white block file on the ones he doesnt want to use an actual image on.
Yari Gio Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 I whent to myphpadmin and just opend the products and set the img field to null and the wierd images holdes whent away. !!! thanks guys
