  1. Have just updated development site from 4.039 to 5.018 via online update process (been on 4.039 for 2 years - no problems). Using Payments Standard Tested on sandbox - all appears ok on sandbox. Both the seller and buyer pp accounts are updated with the transaction. However the buyer isn't returned to the checkout success page but back to the shopping cart via checkout_process with an alert Could not verify the PayPal transaction. Please try again Order remains Preparing [PayPal Standard]. No emails are sent (obviously). Running on standard 2.3.4 - updated to run on php 7.0.33 (deprecated constructor issue) and updated to use bootstrap. (Separate install issue - noticed that some files in this PayPal online update have not been updated for the constructor issue) Scratching my head on this one. I have attached xlsx with relevant server log and paypal log. Any ideas where to start? 5.018 paypal sandbox test.xlsx
  2. Anyone else is having problem with Paypal Standard not updating the order status at completion? Mine isn't updating the order status if the customer didn't click on "Go Back To Merchant". Thanks for your help! Tim
  3. Hello, I am running OSC 2.3.3 with several addons. When I install the PayPal Standard module, at the checkout_confirmation.php page when making an order with a test client, under the PayPal logo I get: ............................................ 1062 - Duplicate entry '0' for key 'PRIMARY' insert into orders (customers_id, customers_name, customers_company, customers_street_address, customers_suburb, customers_city, customers_postcode, customers_state, customers_country, customers_telephone, customers_email_address, customers_address_format_id, delivery_name, delivery_company, delivery_street_address, delivery_suburb, delivery_city, delivery_postcode, delivery_state, delivery_country, delivery_address_format_id, billing_name, billing_company, billing_street_address, billing_suburb, billing_city, billing_postcode, billing_state, billing_country, billing_address_format_id, payment_method, cc_type, cc_owner, cc_number, cc_expires, date_purchased, orders_status, currency, currency_value) values ('625917', 'Test Amaze', '', 'Somewhere 1', '', 'Someplace', '121212', 'Sameplace', 'Virgin Islands (U.S.)', '1212121212', '[email protected]', '1', 'Test Amaze', '', 'Somewhere 1', '', 'Someplace', '121212', 'Sameplace', 'Virgin Islands (U.S.)', '1', 'Test Amaze', '', 'Somewhere 1', '', 'Someplace', '121212', 'Sameplace', 'Virgin Islands (U.S.)', '1', 'PayPal (including Credit and Debit Cards)', '', '', '', '', now(), '31', 'EUR', '1.00000000') [TEP STOP] .................................................... I have added the same module in other OSC 2.3.3 I have at other site but did not get that issue. Anyone can help? Thank you
  4. In the latest Pay Pal app version, with Pay Pal standard, the "Page Style" defined does not show up and in fact even the cancel and return to (store) link uses our main Pay Pal account name rather than the store name. There's nothing wrong with the page style, as it showed correctly in PP Express - which also used our store name rather than Pay Pal account name. Is it possible there's an error in the code somewhere that these things are not showing in Pay Pal standard?
  5. So, after everything I am still getting errors with the paypal app. I seem to have two distinct intermittent problems. 1. customer pays and the order remains as preparing paypal 2. Payment has been received but the items are still in the customer basket. Paypal has the order number but the order number does not exist on the database. Now I think 1. may be caused by 2 as the next order would seem to be the same order no - so paypal will say that the order has already been paid for. For this "order" there is a paypal log entry with notify_validate[iPN] which does contain all the items. I have PDT set up with a return address of order_process.php I have IPN set up with the same address. My PDT token is ok and does work ( with intermittent failures) I am using PHP at 5.6 and SQL at 5.5 Sorry but this is making me tear my hair out. Is there a transaction flow anywhere? Many thanks
  6. If you use Pay Pal standard with QTPro, it does not remove the quantity correctly and there's a error in admin saying your inventory is sick after every sale. You need to use the QTPro doctor after every sale to sort out your inventory. Yet Pay Pal express does work with QTPro. Multiple issues I have with Pay Pal Express Checkout see me wanting to use PP Standard, but I can't unless this QTPro issue is fixed. I know this glitch has been reported before, but it was unclear whether it has ever had a solution, does anyone out there know?
  7. Hi I am configuring Papal Payments Standard using this guide: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/331996-how-to-setup-paypal-website-payments-standard/ I am posting it here because last post there is 2+ years old... there are steps needed to be done at Paypal Site I do not have /catalog/ipn.php :( should it be set to: /catalog/ext/modules/payment/paypal/standard_ipn.php ?
  8. I have Os 2.3.4 install PayPal payments standard version 3.2, when check out only display regular check out button but not " check out with PayPal button". Whenever I hit regular check out button, it will refer to log in to pay with PayPal or setup a new PayPal account without the options to check out with credit cards payment. Anything wrong? Please give me a hint. Thanks PS: My Business PayPal profile>Website Payment Preferences>PayPal account Optional is ON.
  9. I added raiwas @@raiwa paypal invoice fix for PayPal standard. http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8491 somehow the tax calculation doesn't seem to be right on the PayPal payment site. I ship domestic and international. International customers don't have to pay VAT here in my country so my shop and the PayPal module show everything correctly during the checkout and payment process. The problem starts when a domestic customer pays with PayPal. Here is the Layout in my Shop (checkout_confirmation.php page) Item 1 -> 1620 Yen Item 2 -> 1080 Yen ------------------------------ Sub-Total: 2700 Yen + Shipping 810 Yen ------------------------------ Total: 3510 Yen (incl. 8% VAT, 260 Yen) As you can see all prices are incl. 8% VAT the items, the shipping cost and at the end inside the brackets you see how much VAT is included in the total amount. Now PayPal shows me this Layout: Item 1 -> 1500 Yen Item 2 -> 1000 Yen ------------------------------ Sub-Total: 2500 Yen Tax: 260 Yen Shipping: 810 Yen ------------------------------ Total: 3570 Yen PayPal shows the item prices without VAT (which i don't mind) but later after the subtotal he adds 260 Yen VAT and additional shipping of 810 Yen (which includes 8% VAT again) So PP charges the VAT for the shipping cost twice that's why the 60 Yen price difference. He pulls the VAT of the total amount and the shipping cost. How to prevent this? I could turn of tax for the shipping cost in my shop but then the shop calculation would not be right. This following code is raiwas invoice fix (btw. thanks for that @@raiwa! :thumbsup: ) $parameters = array('cmd' => '_cart', 'upload' => '1', 'handling_cart' => $this->format_raw($order->info['shipping_cost']), 'shopping_url' => STORE_URL.'/'.FILENAME_STORE, 'tax_cart' => $this->format_raw($order->info['tax']), 'business' => MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPAL_STANDARD_ID, 'currency_code' => $currency, 'invoice' => substr($cart_PayPal_Standard_ID, strpos($cart_PayPal_Standard_ID, '-')+1), 'custom' => $customer_id, 'no_note' => '1', 'notify_url' => tep_href_link('ext/modules/payment/paypal/standard_ipn.php', '', 'SSL', false, false), 'return' => tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PROCESS, '', 'SSL'), 'cancel_return' => tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PAYMENT, '', 'SSL'), 'bn' => 'osCommerce22_Default_ST', 'paymentaction' => ((MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPAL_STANDARD_TRANSACTION_METHOD == 'Sale') ? 'sale' : 'authorization')); for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($order->products); $i<$n; $i++) { $j = $i + 1; $attributes_description = ''; if ( (isset($order->products[$i]['attributes'])) && (sizeof($order->products[$i]['attributes']) > 0) ) { for ($j2=0, $n2=sizeof($order->products[$i]['attributes']); $j2<$n2; $j2++) { $attributes_description = $attributes_description . " (" . $order->products[$i]['attributes'][$j2]['option'] . ': ' . $order->products[$i]['attributes'][$j2]['value'] . ")"; } } $parameters['item_name_'.$j] = $order->products[$i]['name'] . $attributes_description; $parameters['amount_'.$j] = $this->format_raw($order->products[$i]['final_price']); $parameters['quantity_'.$j] = $order->products[$i]['qty']; } and how can i change the Layout in the PayPal site? I would like to have the Tax part shown AFTER the shipping cost. Item Item ------------- Sub-total +shipping +tax ------------ Total Something like that. Kind regards Tsimi
  10. I posted this in another part of the forum but thought i would be better here. Here is an updated addon to make the product descriptions show up instead of your shop name on the paypal checkout page using Paypal Standard...This is specifically for PayPal Standard...not PayPal Express..... http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8981 Thanks...Steven
  11. HI, my last successful paypal standard transaction was on the 27th August, since then all paypal transactions have failed at the point when a customer presses the confirm sale button. They then receive a message from Paypal informing them that there is something wrong with the sellers account. I have contacted Paypal and they tell me there is nothing wrong with my account, also I have sent an invoice to someone and received the payment, so I think that the fault in on my side of the action. I am running 2.3.3 and since that last successful transaction there have been 4 updates to oscommerce, which I have not implemented, could that be the reason for the problem? Has anybody got any ideas? Regards, Graham
  12. I am using OSCommerce 2.3.1 with Paypal Website Standard Paymant option. However, there is no Paypal button displayed on any of the web pages. Anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem is? I thought by installing paypal, the buttons would be displayed. Express checkout, if enabled, displays the button on the checkout screen.
