Issue #15: November 18, 2002

By Harald Ponce de Leon

November 18, 2002

Language Text Updates
cPath Secured
Bug Fixes Galore
New My Account Proposal Discussion

Language Text Updates

David Garcia Watkins has updated all of the Spanish text translations to the Catalog module.

If you wish to help out with translating the English text to Spanish or to German, please forward the Spanish text to David, and the German text to Jan Wildeboer.

Other languages are welcome and should be made available in the Contributions area.

cPath Secured

The cPath value is now secured against malformed values which contain duplicate and invalid category IDs, which could possibly lock the server due to looping database queries.

Bug Fixes Galore

A lot of bug reports were taken care of during the week - please keep feeding the bug reporter so that bugs existing in codebase can be minimized - or even better yet exterminated - in the the 2.2 release package.

New My Account Proposal Discussion

A discussion has been started in the Developers forum regarding a proposal for the yet-to-be-updated My Account area on the Catalog module.

Get your feedback in quick so that work on this area can be started sooner. This is one of the last major areas to be worked on for the 2.2 release.

The thread can be reached at:

You can further discuss it on our Forum
